A NEW SOUND IN A HISTORIC CHURCH
Pastors Rob and Linda King, along with Trustees Leroy Gowe and David Miller host the two non-denominational services at St. John's on the first and third Sunday's of the month. Having been in ministry and involved with Christian television for many years in the Pittsburgh area, Rob and Linda bring a new sound of contemporary worship to the Island. Rob also blows the shofar at the beginning of services, symbolic of God announcing His presence as the sound of the trumpet waxed louder and louder on Mount Sinai detailed in Exodus 19:19.
BECOME A PART OF OUR FAMILY
Come as you are to worship with us. The Sunday services start at 10:00 AM. We have a diverse group of people who attend. Local watermen, Catholic believers, those with Episcopal and Presbyterian backgrounds, Pentecostals, Charismatics, tourists, boaters and those who have never been in a church before... all are welcome. If it has been awhile since you attended church, you will appreciate the contemporary style of music and the simple preaching at St. John's. We care deeply for the people of Tilghman and the Bay Hundred area and are dedicated to seeing them grow and prosper in the abundant life that is found in Christ
